To show menu items located in header area of the site, you have to carry out these steps:

 

Step 1: Navigate to Appearance–> Menu section of your admin sidebar.
Step 2: Click the Create A New Menu link to make a new menu. Enter the name then click the Create Menu
Step 3: To add menu item, select one of your created pages on the left hand side and click the Add To Menu button. You can also add different posts from the left side.
Step 4: To add a custom menu item, enter a custom name and link into the Links box.
Step 5: Manage your menus by using the drag and drop functionality. To create a dropdown menu in Menu Structure, simply drag a menu item on the left side to the area on the right side.
Step 6: After setting up your menu, scroll down to the bottom of the page to assign the menu on the Theme Location box.
Step 7: Once It’s all done, make sure you click  Save Menu.

Now returning to the site, you will see the menu shown on the header like this:

We supported Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn, RSS Feed, You-tube and Instagram social.

To add social media on your header, please following these steps:

  • Case 1: Add socials which have on Citilights theme.
    • Navigate Customizerà Headerà Open Top Bar tab then you need to turn On Show Social Icons option. After that, you can choose position which social will be displayed by tick left/right on Social Position option.
    • Then, go to Customizer–> Open Social Media tabs–> Input your URL that corresponding social icon will be displayed.
  • Case 2: Add socials which don’t have on Citilights theme
    • To add socials which don’t have on Citilights theme, you need to add on Citilights code.
    • You can open file {root}/wp-content/theme/noo-citilights/framework/functions/noo-html.php then see the functionYou can add more socials icon in this code. Example: we add Vimeo social –> Here is code which you need to add:social

The logo can be any size and can fill up the full content area.  Citilights is also retina ready, so there are additional options to upload retina 2x logo and specific instruction that need to be followed to display correct on retina ready devices.

To insert your logo, please following these steps

  • Step 1: Navigate to Customizer–> Header–>Logo tab to access the logo options.
  • Step 2: You will see button turn On/Off Use Image for Logo. If turn On, you will have two logo to upload, one is Your logo – a standard logo on desktop, one is Retina Logo – a retina ready devices.
  • Step 3: if you are uploading retina logo (it’s not required) it needs to be exactly twice the size of the regular logo. For example, if the standard logo is 200×100, the retina logo should be 400×200. Click Upload button and select your retina logo.
  • Step 4: If you are using a retina logo, you must enter the logo height for standard logo.
